"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." -- unknown

Moves and toys
November 11, 2007 - 8:21 pm

I did the quintessential kraven thing today. I moved all the furniture in my bedroom... why doesn't really matter, because I didn't have a good reason to.

Halfway thru, I realized that there was a flaw in what I was doing. Not a big deal, but a flaw nonetheless... so, I continued to move items. Upon finishing moving everything, I realized that the minor flaw I could fix -- the light switch was only set to one of the outlets, the other was always on. So, yes I could have the motor for selectcomfort mattress plugged into the same outlet as the light for the room.. however, I now had a bigger problem.

I didn't have a place to put the alarm clock. Nope, couldn't put the nightstand where I'd normally put it.. that would be right in the entrance to the room.

So.. I left to watch football.

I tend not to need the alarm to wake up; I hate the noise. I mean, really hate. I mean loath. I do. Even when I'm sleeping good, I'll wake up before it goes off. Even when I set it to some unique/one time time.. I'll wake up... unless I'm really, really tired.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do tonight.. I'll sort that out right before bed. I think I may end up putting everything back how it was.

In other news, the new most perfect cat toy is the plastic 'ring' you get when you open a plastic jug of milk. I can't imagine why.. it doesn't roll well or anything, but she loves it.
