Just another weekend...

I need to read more -- to this point, I bought a couple books and signed up for a magazine or two. So far, I've not read anything. Well, started one of the books.

I also need to start to write more. I have a couple stories I keep nursing in my head.. even came up with a title for one. It's very different sort of story for me.. but one I sort of like anyway.

The title is to be "The Truth of Elves". So yes, it's a fantasy sort of story.. wizards, elves and the like.

In other news, I've gotten some pretty strong counsel against the job I was considering.. but we'll see. I think I'd like the position, but it's very true that it's in a 'segment' of the company that gets very little credit or respect -- which is sad.

I'm nearly delusional enough to think I could 'fix' that, but it's not about the work one person does.. it's a culture thing.

What will I do? I dunno, I guess I'll wait to see if it's officially offered or not. How's that for a plan?
