my head hurts

today started out with one of the worst driving experiences i've had in a long while.. i'm not sure how many places around the country (world?) do this.. but there's main street running north/south and at a 4 way intersection the cross street is really two streets.. one named x going east and one named y going west.

that can be confusing.. but the problem is only one of the damn streets has a sign.. so the logical assumption is the the street as the same name on both sides of the intersection.. haha, jokes on me. they don't.

after that little fiasco.. i couldn't find the hotel. it was cleverly hidden from the street i was on.. but clearly visible if you came from the highway. i didn't.. since mapquest didn't take me that way, but i can't blame mapquest. my problem was the tiny signs.. and missnig signs.

why a hotel? nothing quite so great as a tryst - i was at insurance class.

this is probably a bigger reason why my head hurts.. god was it rough.

to top off my day of fun.. i bought this pinwheel meat thing with spinach and cheese.. and i don't think i cooked it long enough. don't worry.. i'm a trooper.. i'll be fine.
