what dreams may come
May 21, 2006 - 12:15 pm

i like the movie.. 'what dreams may come'.

i like the title. i like the premise. i like the imagery.

i'm not all together sold that there is an afterlife, but that's not the point.

i really hate these new "man food" commercials. not that i eat at fast food places all that often.. these commercials do nothing to make me want to eat at burger king. in fact, they make me want to do the exact oppisite.

isn't it curious that, more often than not, food advertised towards woman is healthy and good for them.. and food advertised towards guys isn't?

what i hate the most is when you are watching a movie/show and they keep showing the same commercials at every break. perhaps i'm not like the average person, but seeing an ad too many times just puts me off. i'm not sure what the limit is.. but every break is way too often. no wonder things like tivo are so popular. perhaps one day i'll own one... though i guess i should get a dvd player first.
