groundhog day
February 10, 2006 - 6:46 am

in the shower today.. it occured to me that in many ways my life is like groundhog day.

you know the movie.. not just the day where a furry critter sees or doesn't see his (her?) shadow, but the movie where bill murry's character repeats the same day time and again and again and again until he gets it right.

i'm not sure if this makes me happy or sad. on one hand, it means something 'good' should come of everything.. but on the other hand, it means (i think) that free will and chance.. aren't real.

the whole free will debate is a kinda fascinating thing. used to do it with a roomie.. but when you really get down to it, it's impossible for you or i to truely know. you can strongly believe for or against it.. but that's about it.

anyway. tomorrow.. during (i assume) the big ass snow storm.. i'll be getting my new bed. have i cleaned anything up? have i made this place presentable? no, not yet.

can you think of anything better to do on a friday night?
