i've heard/read from several sources that the teacher who slept with her student and had two kids by him is out of jail.

what the fuck is the big deal?

she broke the law. she got arrested. she went to court. she was found guilty. she served her time.

there should be ZERO news coverage of her release. her debt is paid. hell, the kid, who is now 21 (or is it over 21?) wants to talk to her regarding the kids.. and the courts are currently saying 'nope, she can't talk to you.'

eh.

the kobe case might get dropped.. i've no idea what happened there.. but it doesn't matter. to some folks he's guilty and to some he's not. what's clear is that the court folks in eagle county can't do much of anything right. 'tis horrible the way her name has 'accidently' been spilled into the news so many times.

what is the deal with her anyway? she claims kobe assulted/raped her.. but she has someone else's dna on her cervix. that seems to indicate she slept with someone else after she claims to be attacked by kobe..

from a legal point of view, the case is all shot to hell - how can you be reasonably sure the bruises and what-not didn't happen from this other fella? i'm pretty darn sure i remember reports that she denied having relations with anyone else.. so (if my recollection is right) she's lying.. or something funking happened with someone else's sperm. if she's lying.. you can't take single thing she say a reliable.. so even if kobe did assult/rape her i don't see how he could be convicted beyond a reasonable doubt.

i'm going to be annoyed to no end with all the people claiming the rich get off scottfree and all that crap. go talk to martha stewart who got convicted of covering up a crime - but wasn't convicted with the actual crime she covered up... how exactly that works.. boggles my mind.

i think this society's fasnination with other peoles troubles is.. a horrible horrible thing.

of course, it goes right along with the rest "our" thinking - that is, we are never to blame, nothing is ever our fault.

eh.

tell me again, why i should be "proud" to be a human? pretty please?
