peru-girl, tests and ycats
October 08, 2003 - 7:46 pm

i'm told i did well on the marketing test, but i'm trying to get my prof to email me my score.

i didn't do so well on the quiz in accounting, though it was only worth 10 points. i think i got a 7.

i did email peru-girl before accounting, to see if she had any thoughts on the test.. she works upstairs from me, so we exchanged several emails. at first i was happy about this, something like a converstation, then i realized that though i'd asked her about the grad work she does, she hadn't expressed any interest in asking what i do - not a good sign.

we talked a bit before accounting, where she related a story to me.. one that wasn't finished, though there's no need to finish it - just about how some guy had pissed her off while she was working.

during class we caught eyes once or twice - early in class. i was feeling hopeful again. but as class wore on, she didn't look back. at the break she was talking to some friends of hers down the hall..

like i said, i can't read such signs..

after class, i met with my group about our project and she was gone by the time we were done.

so, since we have a major test coming up in two weeks, i dropped her an email asking if she'd like to study together for the exam.

so, time will tell.

nothing much else to report.. i think i'm going to play poker most of the night - enjoy my addiction.

oh, one last thing before i forget - thanks to ycats for the IM last night. i did enjoy the chat.
