the fed, alone and matrix
May 17, 2003 - 1:29 pm

i'm going to see the matrix II today. i'm all set for a let down. the first film had an awsome idea and very good effects. though, on my second watching of the original, i saw a massive, glaring fuck-up. i'm not so thrilled with it anymore. it's still a good movie to watch, but not a top favorite.

as is often the case with sequals, i'm betting they go less with a strong plot and more with effects. oh well, they are making it make money - not to make a good movie.

if you want to know the flaw, just ask. and no, it has nothing to do with the kiss from trinity, it's far more basic and damaging than than.

the more i think about it, the more the more i'm convinced that in school every person should take a class on money. the history of it, the types of it, how our central bank system works, how credit cards work - this would be immensly practical information. the government and business wouldn't like it. it means we'd be educated and folks in 'power' never want educated masses. they want easy to lead, trusting, largely ignorant masses.

the educated ask questions and expect answers. a definite no-no.

though i've ready very little on the subject, i'm currently reading (and recommend) "the creature from jekyll island" by G. Edward Griffin.

the creature is the federal reserve bank.

it's a big book, so that will probably scare you off. i'd recommend sitting in some book store and reading the first chapter. that along gives you a wealth of information.

in other news.. i'm re-coming to grips with the idea that i am more than likely always going to be a lone. for a while i was really bothered by this. the more i sit back and watch people...the more i realize it might not be such a bad thing.
