"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." -- unknown

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results - Albert Einstein

calmer today.
September 12, 2002 - 9:15 pm

i am. much calmer than yesterday.

i woke up at like 4am with a massive pain in my right shoulder. i've no idea why. it still hurts. i couldn't sleep once i woke up with the pain. i wondered if some rare spider bought me and i was going to die.

mentally i'm pretty empty.

i watched a show that played soft classical type music while a smooth throated man explained what sine and cosine are. it was oddly enthralling.

i dunno.

it amuses me to sit and watch shows about the sphinx and pyramids. i like to hear these people offer up theories about if there were slaves or not, why they were built and when. we don't know anything about them.

that's the thing about people, what we don't know...we pretend we do. what we don't like, we pretend we don't know so we can make up a new meaning. once we think we know something, then we call it a fact.

if we were wise, we'd admit we don't know. we'd admit there's many possible paths..instead a history book is written and only one theory. it's taught as fact.

i think i'm getting obessed with things i'll never find the answer too.
