vaction day 3 and some history

Vacation Day 3

i guess i should get down to writing this since i started this whole logging my vaction thing...

i didn't do much today. i cleaned. i mean scrubbed and vaccumed...i even washed, wait no..i won't say what i washed for the first time in many, many months. i need to keep what little scraps of respect i have.

i didn't go to gym. i should have, but i'm sore from monday. i'ma wuss.

i'm out of kilter. my days are all of wack.

i have a lot of stress in my shoulders for some reason. i dunno why, but i do.

it's really looking like a thing or two i wanted to i'm not going to. i think i'm ok with that.

i missed the start of west wing.

i'm eating cold bbq chicken from a tub. it's not bad actaully.

my peacon pie is all gone, i miss it. i don't like baking. the point of baking is to make something, but the you turn around and eat what you baked...so you're left with nothing and you have to bake again to enjoy again. it's a very vicious circle.

did you know that the 19th amendment to our constitution is a joke? it's the one that give's women the right to vote. now, calm down and let me explain. afterall doesn't the preamble start 'We the people...'? article 1, section 2, clause 1, says 'The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States'. notice, it says People, not men. amendment 14 (ratified in 1868, 52 years before the 19th) says 'All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.' not that the 14th really matters since nothing before it says that voting by women is a no-no. the closest i see is article 1, section 2, clause 3, where it says 'Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.'

bet you never expected history class here huh? i've been browsing around there's nothing i read (of course i could have missed it) that really limits who can vote, but that comment about 'Free Persons'.

funny how we actaully passed an amendment to 'correct' an injustice that never existed.

i think i'm gathering up steam to go on a quest just to point out every absurdity in an effort to show just how absurd people are.

of course i realize how foolish and futile this is...
