Random bits..
December 08, 2009 - 8:34 pm

Feels like weeks or months since I last posted.

My car was ill today. For the second time in a week it wouldn't start. It wanted to.. but didn't. Clearly it wasn't the starter.. but something else. It eventually started, just like the first time, so I drove to the dealer. Turns out some sensor was off and it wouldn't let the car start. So.. a nice chunk of change I don't really have gone to fix it. For a free car, this one is costing my lots of money this year. I simply don't have the lump sum amount handy to get a better one.

Mom called me yesterday and I knew something was off or wrong. She always calls on speakerphone for she and Dad can talk to me. Well, he listens and asks the occasional needling question. Last night she called, but not on the speakerphone. It seems.. Dad was going to sit in a booth at a restaurant and something went quite wrong... ending with him falling backwards and cracking his head on a wall. Six staples (doesn't that sound f'ing terrible?) to the back of his head.. and he's something like ok.

What bothers me in the whole story.. is Mom dealing with it. Head wounds bleed like mad.. so no doubt there was blood all over the place. Other diners freaking out... what a scene it must have been.

And.. she gets to deal with him being all sore and whatnot.

I can also imagine the girls the first time they see the staples.. what a dramatic nightmare that will be. No doubt he'll be wearing a hat for quite a while.

I wait.. and I wait for Corporate to say the 'window is open' for me to go take the test. I don't get what the deal is... but I wait. It's annoying. I simply can't study much without a deadline. I think I'll be fine... it's multiple guess. I only need a 70%.
