Birthday stuff....

I got six, count 'em six, birthday wishes on facebook. I don't really count those as much of anything since only two are from people I've spoken with or traded messages with in the last few months... the others are just folks I used to know who felt like piling on I guess.

I got one birthday card from my parents.

I got one present from my brother. He sent me one of those Brookstone clock/weather/temp things. Which is a useful, but odd gift... it wasn't too many years we (me, parents, and brother) all got a similair item from someone for Christmas. But now I can have one in the living room and one in the computer room.

I got one verbal happy birthday at work.

That's it. Well, save for the note here... of course.

I did go to the casino and played poker for awhile. I played too long though and got tired... which means I started to make goofy moves and lost my money. That doesn't bother me though... I'll only go with cash I don't mind losing and I enjoy playing, so all is good.
