Mental dictaphone
June 18, 2008 - 5:24 pm

Work.

Is.

Getting.

Slower.

I find that I'm having to find more and more things to occupy my time at work. Considering how crazy the first half the year was, this strikes me as about right. It's time for things to wrap up and my email box to stop filling up.

In related news, I did interview for a new position at work on Monday.. and will have a couple follow-ups tomorrow. I'm actually... mostly excited about this. I need to ponder my meager notes from the first meeting and make myself smart on a couple things.

In other other news...

Well, I'm not sure what other other will be. One thing I keep meaning to write is an entry about where I work. Oddities I've seen and whatnot. It's in my head... bubbling about.

What else?

Not much else.

Life is slow.

I've also got an nice start to a story in my head. I'm going to try and get it on paper (er... well, in a document?) this weekend I think.

I'm still waiting for the mental dictaphone to be invented.

Get on that, will ya?
