chimes and my days

The other evening, I was sitting on my couch and I heard some chimes. I said to myself, "Self, I'm not really all that fond of wind chimes, am I?" Of course, since I was speaking to myself and I know my thoughts on the subject, my answer came with no hesitation, "No, no I'm not. In fact, if I were to never hear them again, wouldn't much care."

Just a few minutes ago, I was walking into my building.. I looked up at my balcony and what did I spy hanging off a metal hanger? A set of wind chimes of course.

It seems they came with the place. I've never owned chimes before.. and I'm happy to say that while technically I suppose I still do, they won't be chiming anymore... and soon I won't have an relation to them.

So... where have I been? This past week has largely consisted of the following:

Get up at 4:45 or 5 and be at work by 6. Leave work around 6. Eat.. watch perhaps an hour of TV and go to bed. Fall asleep some hours later. Repeat.
