ten and thirteen

You see.. I have little plastic bottles of eye drops stashed all over the apartment and at work. Some brands I like, some I don't.. but the bottles tend to sit where ever I used them last. Here. There. Wherever.

So.. I rounded them all up and got rid of them all except the one or two I really like.

I should find out today (possibly tomorrow) if the closing is indeed in ten (10!) days. The move would then be in thirteen (13!) days. Yeah, I know.. I keep bringing this up. Sorry, tis the one 'major' event in my life.

I'm now curious how to care for hardwood floors. I'm thinking I need to mop the floor.. but I'm not so sure what to mop it with. Some sites say never use oil, others say never use wax.. one site claimed if you brew some tea.. and use the water it will give a wonderful shine. Oddly, this makes a degree of sense to me. Nearly all the sites say "refer to what the mfg said", which isn't helpful. I've no idea who that is.

My real estate agent knows lots of odd things about places (or she makes them up). Perhaps I'll ask her.. or perhaps one of you folks knows what's what.

It's time to start giving real thought to packing. Perhaps if I pack one box a day.. at least until the last weekend. I'll need to pretty much have everything packed then. Unless, of course, I opt to go with the good old 'let's just do it all right before I have to' option. I want to avoid that. Really. I do.
