He's a shitty speaker.

Instead, I thought.. I'll set up a coupla condo visits after work, get my eyes checked around 6:30.. do my food shopping and sometime around 7:30 or 8, I'll pop in the next dvd from Netflix. What's in the player? Why another series show I never got to see, but everyone raved about.

I've already seen the first few episodes of the Sapranos.. I saw one episode of Oz (I'm not sure I see the appeal of this one, and the whole "burning the guy" at the end was just stupid -- how the fuck would any prison let that go? What guard would let it happen for a few bucks? There'd be one hell of an inquiry.. but all that is for another entry.)

No, what was in my player and what I thought would be decidedly good to watch whilst the president talked.. was The L Word.

Yeah, the lesbian based show from Showtime.

That was the plan. I'd see the pilot the other day (had no idea it was really a softcore porn show) and while I was a little irked the straight girl succumbed so quick to the lesbian girl (I was hoping that'd be a lingering subplot -- a season long seduction or something), I was going to give it another chance.

The condo I saw, the first one, was pretty much fucking perfect. I like the location, a bit of traffic to deal with, but I'm close to work and to shopping.. but the setting itself appears to be secluded. A nice mix I think. The present owner took fantastic care of the place.. and made a few nice upgrades here and there. The second unit paled in comparison.

Which brings me to a pet peeve.. When I say "Ok" to something or that "I'd like to know this or that" before I decid.. I damn well mean Ok - as in I agree, or I need more info before I decide. My realtor loves to talk and talk and talk. Drives me fucking insane sometimes. I'll literally tell her to stop. I said ok or stop, I said I need to know this or that.

Anyway, she went off to do research and I went off to get my eyes checked... all's good with my eyes, so back to the office I went. Heck, I was even in such a good mood I called my parents.

The numbers more or less make sense.. so we put together an offer (during which she talked incessantly about the dumbest things, which made the whole process of filling out five or six sheets take over an hour) and sent it off.

I ended up getting home at like 8 or 8:30. I was now quite tired.. the realtor lady is fucking draining sometimes. If I hadn't seen so many places with her.. I think I would switch.

I had no food in the place thanks for forgetting to go shopping. I scrounged here and there for grub.. putting together a meal that won't go named. A few drops in my eyes.. and then a little tv. Perhaps my timing is off, I'm not sure. I did see the new Dirty Jobs.. but none of the president's speech.

I waited for the phone to ring.

So far.. it hasn't. I hope the seller decides early today. I'm actually anxious about this place.
