random happenings

i opened my little metal mail box.. and got excited -- a handwritten envelope was inside. i looked at the return address.. and didn't recognize it. i looked at the mailing address and didn't recognize it.

my excitment began to fade.

it was a small envelope.. the kind you sent a little 3x3 (or so) card in. i could nearly make out the writing on the contents.

my excitment was gone, there's no reason for me to get a card. so much for the idea it had been mislabeled and sent to me.

tomorrow, at work.. i'm going to acquire a printer. i'm going to acquire some other tidbits. while the gettin' is good, i'm going to get what i can get.

i met with a lady about seeing condos. i didn't much like her.. or her office. in truth, i didn't mean to meet with her. i called the wrong office.. and didn't quite figure it out until too late. i'm going to call the right place in a few minutes.

the letter.. was an invite to some 6yr old's bday. i read the card inside. to make up for that, i'm going to send it back.. so it can get to where it should be. i imagine some 6yr will be just as excited as i was to get mail.

yeah.. that's sad.

my teeth were cleaned today. yes, it was a busy day. the lady asked me if i flossed.. as there wasn't much stuff between my teeth. i said no, not at all. she gave me the lecture on how i should i keep the stuff out from between my teeth. i didn't bother to point out that what i do must work pretty darn well as she was about to praise me for flossing. i use listerine. often. i like it and figure it kills the bacteria, which is just as good or better than moving them about.
