what is farktography you ask? is it safe for work? is it safe for all ages?

well, i'll give a tentitive yes to both -- farktography is a contest that's held on fark (www.fark.com) from time to time.. the basic point is a theme is given and folk submit pictures to meet that theme (very often loosely/interestingly so) and farkers vote. under recent contests you can see the top vote getters.. and there's a link to upcoming contests.

today.. i saves something like $100. of course, to save that much.. one, generally speaking, must spend more than that -- as true discounts of 50% are hard to find. in total.. i got three shirts, two pairs of pants and one tie.

yes, i went back and put those in counting down order on purpose. my original random listing.. bothered me.

no, i'm not like monk.

i also picked up a suit i'd bought a week or so ago.. i'm not so sure it's tailored right. i now want to find a "real" tailor -- not one of the folks in the stores.. i dunno why, but they never to really give a shit. of course, i've no idea how to pick/find a tailor. perhaps i'll ask at work. surely someone there will have thoughts.

in terms of drinks, lately.. i've been dabbling in kentucky whiskey's -- like knob creek. for whatever reason, this last trip i got a bottle of irish whiskey - jameson. i've had it before.. years ago.. and i must say, the taste as grown on me. perhaps it's just that with the humidity it's a tad short of sweltering and the glass has ice.. i don't know.

things left on my to-do list:

get new glasses
find a new doctor
clean
study
