i like curling. i'm not sure why, but i like it. just learned the stones tehy are using cost something like $1,500. whoda thunk a rock with a handle would cost so much?

also just learned.. one of the curlers makes pizza as his "normal" job.

kinda interesting.. pizza baker by day, olympic caliber stone slider by night.

i'm missing my ipod. where, oh where, did it go? oh well.

on the ride home.. each and every song tonight struck a cord with me. even though it happens evertime i hear certain songs, i'm always kind of impressed at how they can spin my mood.

i decided that the habit of mine i want to get out of the most is letting things fester. if i know an email is just bad, bad news.. i let it sit and sit. i see it, i cringe, i go do something else. it doesn't change the content, it just means i'll be reading it at a different time.

it's silly.

that's just one example. in the same vein is chasing something i can't get.

how is this the same you ask? simple, it's the same because i'm ignoring the bad news that i know i can get or do whatever it is.

perhaps festering is the wrong term.. but not to put things off or ignore realities.

that probably makes no sense to you.

i get my tax refund on the 17th. i'm excited about that. sadly, i'll be spending it as soon as it get it.

i've got one confirmation of reciept for my CT state tax.. which is good, that's a nice refund too. i'm waiting the the VA one, but i don't care much about that.

i leave for vegas.. in something like 36 hours.
