semi-active weekend

a large part of my life has been devoted to doing what i feel others thing i should do.. which will seem odd to some folk, but it's true. my head gets all swirly thinking about how i'll look if i did x or y and what people will think. i like to put on the mask that i don't care.. but i do.

i was going to mothball the "kraven" name, but i'm thinking that'd be silly, so i'm not. of courses, i may waffle on this point dozen more times.. so who knows.

i did finish my taxes (go me!) and i've already spent the vast majority of my refund. i'm such a good little consumer. i'm getting one of those select comfort beds. i'm sort of excited about it.

why am i getting one? the idea of them just makes sense. adjustable firmness. air will contour exactly to your body. no creaks and squeaks. 20 year warrenty. easier to move.

i also redid some of my 401k stuff, so i'm happy about that. i'm not sure of my roth money.. i've got it all in pretty speculative stuff and i'm starting to think i should adjust that.. but i dunno.

i'm actaully going to a superbowl party.. yeah, i'm actaully going to a semi-social event. maddening to contemplate, i know.

what else? i'm trying out emule to see if i like it. it seems winmx has been shutdown.

with any luck.. i'll remember to turn on the dishwasher when i leave next.. unlike the last four times i've gone out. i'm wicked bad at that.
