my only comment on bush and the spying on various people (might as well lump in the supposed CIA torturing sites across the world) is:

who will watch the watchers? i believe, our government should be as transparent as possible. we elect people (well sort of), so we should know what they are doing.. how else is it a government "of the people, for the people, by the people"?

in other news, go here:
http://www.starchamber.com/paracelsus/elvish/elvish-in-ten-minutes.html#farked

learn to write in elvish. why? i dunno, i found it on fark (www.fark.com).

of course, fark also has a story of a woman who's selling paintings she made with her breasts: http://www.abc.net.au/northwestwa/stories/s1532637.htm#121

people baffle me.

what else does fark have? why an article on string theory.. sadly that one of the bright minds behind it says "WE DON'T know what we are talking about":

http://www.newscientist.com/channel/fundamentals/quantum-world/mg18825293.700

that's why i like fark.. a weird mix of articles.. with the occasional "weeners" or "boobie" link thrown in for people to oogle and make fun of.
