i'll research that monday. i'm curious as to why. not that i'm complaining.

today.. i also learned a new way home. i was told it was faster.. and perhaps it is, but it makes one intersection really, really shitty. i'll not be using it often.. if at all.

today.. i decided, knowing it was payday and bonus-payday (but not that my bonus was bigger than expected) to splurge some and buy some booze. well, not splurge.. but to buy some.

so while in the liquore store, i come across a bottle of scotch called "pigs snout." yeah.. named for a pig's nose. why? the back of the bottle says the scot's say it's as smooth as a pig's nose.

now, i've no idea how smooth a pig's nose is.. but i just had to find out. needless to say, like i figured, not that smooth.. as i don't think any scotch is "smooth". it is tastey though.. and not too expensive, so i might get it again if for nothing else than the fun of buying a bottle with that name.

i also got some yummie yummie ammeretto.. so i'm well set on booze for a long while.

upon finding out about my bonus.. i fired off some payments. god i love online bill pay. in fact, in six months i've written six checks -- one for each month of rent. a book of checks will last me a long, long time.

to top it all off.. i'm expecting a bribe any day now.

who'd bribe me? why would i be bribed? well, knowledge is power.. and sometimes to get some info.. the info-keeper has to be bribed.
