when i left work.. our receptionist called out, "hey k, do you have any gas in your car?"

my first thought was, of course i do. my car runs on gas. however, i didn't say that. instead i asked the rather all important question, "why?"

it seems her car would start.. but would then stall if/when she took her foot off the gas. didn't exactly sound like a gas problem to me, but what do i know?

so, i took her to the gas station.. she got gas and back to her car. in goes the 1.5 gallons of gas.. but no change. car stalls if her foot comes off the gas. she wants to get more gas, so back we go.. a full 2 gallons in the container this time.

no change. we sit. we talk. she's pissed. calls a friend for a ride.. and off i go.

i get home at like 6:15 intead of 5:30. what do i find here? firefly isn't on tonight. wtf. i wonder if i've seen them all now.. i know the show got killed during the season..

still haven't seen the movie. i'd much rather watch the show.

anyway.

one rut broken. which one is next?
