anyway

comcast changed the channel line-up.

bastards.

i wonder who's job it is to come up with how the channels should be group? why couldn't they get it right the first time? are there really many different competing theories as to the optimal line-up?

anyway.

i have this little song in my head, perhaps you know it:

"one of these things is not like the other
one of these things does not belong"

why is it in my head? a little memory for high school that pops up from time to time.

anyway.

today i was thinking about these two sayings:

"knowledge is power"
"ignorance is bliss"

which is better? people with power don't seem to happy.. they are always trying to get more power or protect what they have. very, very few ever seem to get secure in what they have. i guess being satisifed isn't part of the model of getting power.

people who are ignorant seem happier. they know what the absoletly need to know.. and so be it.

perhaps the bible got one thing right.. eating from the tree of knowledge was a bad, bad thing to do.

anyway.
