i'm.. pissed, but really in a good way.

i just took 37th out of 1,990 in a hold'em tourny. that's like.. top 2%. paid $2 to play and won $11.94.

so i really can't be upset.. but i was really, really wanting to make the final nine.

i made three fuck-ups.. and boy did they hurt chip-wise. 'course, none of them broke me, so that's a good. usually, i make a big mistake and lose it all on an early hand.

final hand? ace 3 of spades.. flop comes with 2 spades and i'm against a guy who has about 3 times as many chips.. needless to say, the third spade didn't come - but i think i played it right. i was gettin' to be the short stake, so a gamble is needed.

anyway.. i'm fucking tired now.

off to bed.

hah! just thought of why finishing 37th made me smile -- think clerks.
