school work
February 22, 2005 - 4:35 pm

eh. so the other day i posted a to-do list. one of the items was to find an article for my presentation today.

the plan was to start looking for the article last night at 9pm and get the basics of the presentation together. as i had no idea what article i was gonna do, i decided i wanted to be done with things by midnight.. knowing i'd easily be able to finish things up today.

so i tooled around.. watched some tv and drank some wine. not much wine but some. perhaps it was the wine or me getting over a cold, but i got wicked sleepy. like at 7pm i nearly fell asleep listening to the tv. actaully, i think i did fall asleep for a while.

i decided to set my alarm for 6am and just go to sleep then.. which was 9pm.

i got up at 7am because i set the clock for 6pm, not am.

after my shower and pondering calling in sick to work, i found my article at 7:46am. i had the basic presentation together by 9am and left for breakfast/work. i tweaked a bit at work and got things done. things went off without a hitch, though i did think i noticed the prof smirk as i handed in my copy of the article with it's date/time stamp. oh well. i actaully got the class to discuss something, so i should really get bonus points.

in other news.. i have "innocent" by our lady peace stuck in my head.. though sometimes, i change the words to be "decadent" instead of "innocent".

i like both versions.
