now roomie and a thought lost
November 01, 2003 - 4:53 pm

today i learned that the average person eats 158 pounds of sugar a year - twice what people did fifty years go.

you'd think with all that extra sugar, we'd have tons more energy and would be running around in sugar-high frenzy.

residence life has assigned us a new roomie to replace the one who fled back to korea. i met him today.

seems like a nice guy, but one thing is going to bother me. we taked for maybe five minutes and he managed to make no less than five reference to baptist bible study and/or god.

i'm fine if people are religious, but.. that seems to be all he talks about.

on the funny side, he shaves his head. john, a current roomie, shaves his head as well. i told rob that he and i would have to shave our heads. i think i'm going to have to talk rob into the idea.

the really funny thing is.. i've said for years i should shave my head. i havn't just because i think i'll funny - much funnier than i look now. i'm bad enough as is.

heath, the new roomie, talks in a very slow drawl. i like the sound of it. i need to learn to speak slowly like he does. all to often i get going much to fast.. trying to talk as fast as my brain thinks.

hrm, i actually had something to say when i logged in here, but i got sidetracked and now it's gone.
