last night, john called when he got out of work and asked if i wanted to go down to a bar. i find this very odd. it's not common for someone to call me and see if i want to go do something. i rather like john. he's a interesting sort of person. someone with whom i can get into a debate on whatever topic and we both know that the other won't get upset.

we just like the debate.

i think i've made some progress with my own personal philosophy. the biggest block i've had, i think, is that i didn't like where my thinking was going.

i'm realizing that like it or not, that's were it goes. so 'like' doesn't really enter into the mix and i need to get over that.

i like swiss cheese.

i also like my doc marten shoes, though they don't look like typical doc's. they look more like bowling shoes, at least to me.

they got scuffed the other day. that annoyed me, but it had to happen sometime.

i'm very tried. not as tired as rob is though. we didn't get home until about 2am. someone called for him at about 5am. he had to get up for work at 6:45. he works until 4 this afternoon.

the poor basterd is going to be grumpy as later tonight he tries to study for his four tests coming up this week.
