thank you dido. don't get me wrong, i rather fancy dido.. but three lines all damn day is a bit much, no?

i did a good thing today. an old friend of mine, who i havn't seen/talked to in four years lives in va now. i think this, because a year ago i tried to call her.. and that's what i was told.

anyway, i went to www.switchboard.com and tried to find her number.. i called the number it had and got her answering machine, so i knew it was right. i've been calling it now and then.. and finally got a hold of her tonight.

it felt pretty good to talk to someone i used to know. though, she seems to have really gotten her shit together.. i feel kinda crappy that i'm piddling around in school with no job prospect. but i do have two years to find one..so guess it's all good.

i also turned in the application for university center - this brand spankin' new apartment complex being built on the other side of campus. the location kinda sucks.. but rent includes all utilities, cable, high speed internet (whatever that might be, dsl i'm hoping), dish washer.. and best of all private bed room!

i want to get into there for the spring. i'm like number 20 on the waiting list.. so i think it will work out. if not.. oh well.. i can deal.
