heh, companies told they need to store IM chat logs for three years. translation? anytime you do anything at work online, your employer knows it and is logging it.

anytime you do anything online, people know it and are logging it.

if someone halfway educated wanted to, they could trace who you are from your dland page, any email address you use, etc.

it's like the lock on my front door.. honest folks are kept out, but to anyone who really wants in, it's hardly a hinder.

other news, i spoke to the realtor for the apartments. she was quite understanding of the situation and promised to talk to my landlord. it appears that several people have recently left her properties without any notice.. so the landlord is a bit peeved.

i can understand that. however, the fact remains i am not trying to scoot out with no warning...i'm giving two months and told her i could swing paying another months rent - so really she has three months to find a tenent.

four people at work now know i'm leaving. my boss, my supervisor and one co-worker.

i'm kinda of... shocked at things. everyone seems genuinely sad that i'm leaving, but they all kinda knew i wouldn't be hanging around all that long, as the job doesn't pay all that well. they just hoped i'd stick around longer.

i'm expecting a general office awareness in the next few days. i'm hoping it won't be announced for the first time next friday at our company meeting. i'm hoping for an email to everyone. i don't like the idea of being in a room full of people and them all staring at me.

fuck. i just burned my dinner cause i started writting this.

do you read www.fark.com? you should. as good a news source as your going to find.. funny one/two line comments to boot.
