"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." -- unknown And i swear, you're just like a pill Instead of making me better You keep making me ill i like pink. i like the song. i always try to figure out why a song get's stuck in my head. i think i know. i was annoyed it took me so long to figure out. i have some pretty bitter feelings that pretty much border on resentment on an issue. i forget about that kinda stuff pretty quick though, but when the issue comes up...everything comes back. i actaully went to the ymca today to see how much it costs. they are doing a half off special on the initation fee. the fact that there is a fee just annoys me. what do i have to do to get initiated, but pay the freakin' fee? greece banned any and all, yes all, computer/software games. freecell that comes with windows? illegal. online chess? illegal. they are attempting to ban some types of gambling, but when they couldn't come up with a definition of "gambling" that worked...they just banned every game. effective no? something like 55% of americans and europeans think that americas foriegn policy was the cause of the 911 attacks. what else could it be? people tend to hate other people for a reason. i forget the percentage, but a good bit of the american population thinks the states should remain the sole superpower in the world. a good bit of the eu population seems to think that the eu should become a superpower. oddly enough a very small portion of americans think the eu should. imagine that. these things are self-evident to me. sometimes i think about the "history of the world" that is taught in american schools and then i think about the things i learn outside of school, you know..the other side of the story. it's pretty scary what gets dressed up as historical fact. those who write the books, write the history..or better put they leave out the history they don't like. it occurs to me that sometimes i sound something like a prude, overly conservative. i'm really not. i suppose i can be, but you'd probably be pretty darn surprised some of the things that i like and some stories that i've written. i think i'm going to go and try to fill out an online mba application. i need something to distract me from the total junk that makes up our news.
