forced to march.
August 10, 2002 - 4:26 pm

i've spent most of today trying to decide on what i want to do. i find the task overly daunting. i find msyelf jealous towards those that have a clue, that can decide. i find the process, the need to decide what one will be...pointless. i don't like the idea of defining who i am by what i do. let's face it, if you're a doctor, a janitor, an accountant, a store clerk...that becomes part of your identity.

i don't like that. i can't really explain it.

i find peoples need to have a career..pointless. i can't think of a better word. life should not be about work.

of course, this is all mostly bunk coming from me.

i like the word bunk.

i detest the fact that 1/3 of our adult life or more is spent working.

that's just not right.

reality does not match my view of it. that's what it comes down to and there's nothing i can do. i'm forced to march.
