i've never wanted to bitchslap someone so much in my life. wait, that's not true. i just want to smack this girl in the back of the head. i get this guycritical email...here's a brief summary.

girl met boy through friend. boy calls girl, gets machine. girl returns call...phone tag ensues. girl states she never makes effort to call boy, just returns calls. boy and girl finally go on date, girl enjoys herself. phone tag picks back up. boy tries to get girl to buy ticket to a boatride some organization boy belongs to is sponsering. girl is unsure if girl wants to go. girl still doesn't call him, only returns calls. girl states girl won't put more effort into cause girl doesn't feel boy has put any effort into this.

girl is unsure why boy is asking girl to go on boat ride. what's boy thinking is girl's question.

what the fuck...he isn't putting in effort? he called her...kept calling, set up the date...calling her for the boat ride. what has she done? by her own words..."won't put effort into this" sorry, but uhm...

blah. in totally losing faith in the whole women are more mature than men. i think men just bother to hide immaturity less.

i mean, she's rating "effort" in a relationship..and not giving any points for him calling (i'd like to know many people she's ever asked out), him initiating calling, setting up the date, asking her on the boat ride...probably paid for her on the date they had, since that's standard.

i've no idea why, but that email has just...totally annoyed me. what i should have done was just cut n pasted her email and my reply. much easier to do. perhaps next time.

i've started watching tv again. i can flip through channels for hours on end landing on a station for no more than five minutes.

i think i need to stop reading the news, watching tv...

i just find that i relate less and less to the world at large.
