cars, cars...and yet more cars.
Feb 16, 2002 - 7:30 pm

with still many more votes to tally, it looks like the leader is the VW jetta with turbo...see, i can lease it for just $15 more a month than i pay now. my goal is to pay the same or less than i pay now. i think i can get him down and match my current payment. i liked the drive alot. with 180 little ponies, it has some nice pick up.

hrm, perhaps i should recap the cars i've driven...sort of put thoughts to words and see what i really think.

i didn't like the matrix, but oddly still look forward to the vibe. they are supposed to be identical cars. stomping on the gas in the matrix was...well, not good. the engine got real loud, but i don't recall going anywhere. i like to have getupandgo so i can get up and go when i need to. granted, i don't drive much..so really it comes down to my male genes kicking in.

i liked the vw, as i said. it's a kick ass car. i _think_ the lease price even included the 6 cd changer.

the sebring. i thought i'd like it. for whatever reason when i hear chrylser, i think top of the line car. i didn't like it though. no reason why not, but just didn't.

the pt cruiser. i never really gave it much thought till i was sitting in the showroom getting prices on the sebring i didn't like. i kept looking at it. it's part car and part suv. i like that. it's hard to get used to the idea of driving a car after the three years of the blazer. how you sit and how the steering wheel is...is well different. i like the height of the blazer, but would like better gas. i'm not going to pay for a new blazer...so pretty much that means a car. i drove the cruiser and kind of liked it. i want to go back and drive it again, get it out on the highway.

the galant. after the vw, i liked this car next most. it was just comfortable to drive. the dealer has a new 2001 in stock still that i liked and can get a good deal on it. this one i'd buy, not lease.

saturn l200. i didn't like it. my head hit the ceiling. it just..just smacked of cheap car. my brother loves his though. i liked the cost of it, by far the most inexpensive so far.

i wanted to drive the sentra se-r, but they didn't have any. i was bummed about that.

i want to try the protege5, protege, vibe, sonata and mebbe even the focus.

that's a lot of test drives.

i havn't rented a movie in a while.

i wonder what dealers are open tommorrow. i bet toyota is with the sale thing they have going on. i'm not to excited or interested in a toyota's though. i dunno why.

car companies annoy me. first of all cars are money pits. prices just keep going up and up..and it just keeps costing more and more to fix them...then you read about how, for instance, the vibe and matrix are identical cars, developed together. what the fuck is this? how can prices go up and up when companies arn't even making their own designs? talk about sharing costs..they take the engine from this model, the frame from that...and just redo the outside body look. i dunno.

cars, cars, cars....lord help me once i pick one i like, then i have to choose a color..

i'm thinking...vw of pt cruiser currently.

input from anyone???
