i got notes!
January 17, 2002 - 5:56 pm

people left me notes =)

i like getting notes. i'm note sure if i like notes more than guestbooks...but i guess they are really the same.

mr. draindog man, yep i read you when you post and you're welcome for that email.

miss kat silver woman, danke for the note. i can't wait till they make a program that reads webpages to you..so i can set it to english lass, close my eyes and smile...i'd toss in irish lass now and then to spice things up. that's the thing though, i really havn't achieved all that much. i mean, you can get to really minute things like i took a shower or i remembered to lock my door...but that doesn't seem quite right.

i do get pretty down on myself in here don't i? what's the name of that old monk order that used to go around flogging themselves? i guess i'm the modern version of that. i mentally flog myself here.

flog is kind of a fun word to say. you can say it in some really odd voices and, at least i do, get the urge to smile. of course..this site makes me laugh insanly too:

my toes are overly cold today. if there is a god, he/she/it is a very mean being. why couldn't my blood be tad warmer? my veins carry it a tad better? my nerves a tad less sensitive to the cold? pety things you say? perhaps, but the glory is in the details.

oh and to answer DD's question, if i hate the salaries of sports players, why go to the bar to watch the game? i could give you the long reason or the short...and i choose the short. i went cause i had money, through my office, bet on the game. i also went cause one can only spend so many weekends without actaully talking to or being around other people. if i go to a bar, then i get to be around people with having to worry about talking to anyone. if i go to a sports bar, it's perfectly fine and normalish for a single guy to be at a bar on football sunday. if i go to a bar on like friday night alone...i feel the constant looks from people saying 'why is this loser here alone? what kind of pyscho freak is this?' do the looks really say that? probably not, but it's how i feel and so i don't go. so i go to a sports bar really has little do with the game...it's more about a decent and easy cover to sit silently, watch something to be semi-entertained while around people and besides...they have good food there.

yes, that was the short answer.

i'm hungry. i think i'm going to cook. time for microwave mac and cheese!
