"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." -- unknown

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results - Albert Einstein

first, who comes here from dsl.net? drop me a line, if you please. now on to you're regularly scheduled reading:

well, i tried to customize my template some. i finally switched it to black background i like. i tried to change the buttons on the side, but no mater what i changed in the code, it just kept saying 'Older Entries' ect. i guess that part's 'hardcoded' in with the template or something.

i decided i was going to go out last night and the most sensible place was to coach's to watch monday night football. i didn't know when i decided this that there was no football last night, shows how big a fan i am eh? so as part of going out, which i consider to be a good thing for me, i decided to clean up. see, most days i don't really clean or do anything like that...so once very week or two or three i do a 'big clean' and organize everything. so after i had cleaned and was all looking forward to going out, i decided to check and see who was playing. that's when i found out no one was.

so i was bummed. i wanted to go out, but suddenly it was called into doubt what would be open and where i could go. so i drove around town a bit, sure enough coach's was closed. bobby's was closed. hell, even taco bell was closed. so i decided to go home and order a pizza for me xmass eve. i drove past planet pizza..and they were closed. the only places i saw open were hardcore old man drinkin' bars. while i think one day i might qualify to sit in there, i'm not quite there yet.

i'm betting even fewer places are open today huh? oh well.

my neighbors use a lot of powertools.

i bought 'a brief history of time' and the full set of LOTR books yesterday. now i have plenty to read. i know you bought me the fellowship, but i wanted a matching set. i'm odd that way. i like books of a series to all match. anyway, don't worry the book you got me is the one i'll read.

when i woke up today, i laid in bed for quite a few more hours. i realized a pretty fool proof criminal plan. i'd need perhaps one other person (which is why i say pretty much fool proof) and of course luck that goes with anything risky to be done. you can't count on luck though and i don't think i'd really need to. it follows the 'kiss' prinicple, keep it simple stupid. a good rule to apply to anything.

i doubt i'll do it. i'm far to sedentary. i like the mental exercise of coming up with the plan though. i'll work it over in my mind and see what faults i can find. i think it's pretty much good to go though.

quote of the day:

"lie to me. i promise i'll believe."

hey, does anyone remember the band poe and angry johnny? i like that song.

ok, another song quote and i'm done for now:

"Do you worry that you're not liked

How long till you break

You're happy cause you smile

but how much can you fake

An ordinary boy an ordinary name

But ordinary's just not good enough today" -- Superman is Dead, Our Lady Peace
