"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." -- unknown

first day back

so, where to start?

with what you're all looking forward to the most i bet...

work was...surprising mellow. no major problems that i had to mop up. there were of course some 'issues' while i out...but that's a given.

i took me all of one hour to realize that i really, really don't like my job. it's the whole function of what i do. there was this list of oh...six things that needed to be done while i was out. 5 of 6 involved my outside counterpart to get off his ass and do something. none were done. i'm powerless to correct the situation, except by bitching to my boss..who can then bitch at either the outside rep or my outside reps boss. it's a very slow and frustrating process. i want to do something where i can correct/do the things that i see need to be done. i want to be higher up the food chain. thats the main source of my displeaser at work.

i need to talk to jeff about this. my role must change.

so i was trolling the internet today and found to nifty thing i want share. the first is Enron declared bankruptcy today. do you understand how huge that is? this quote will try to help ya fathom it..

``By every measure, this is the largest Chapter 11 case in history,'' said Peter Chapman, president of Bankruptcy Creditors Service Inc. ``If Enron were a sovereign nation, it would be the 30th-largest in the world between Egypt and Malaysia.''

think of al the countries enron is/was bigger than...

then i found this little story, here's just the link since it's so long CLICK ME

i hope that link worked..my first link! how perfect a story is that for me? it just sums up so many things...

let's see what else.

i'm not sure what else. i think ima gonna try to fix my shades again.

my back hurts. not my lower back, but my upper back.

i think i go now.
