*blink*

Ponder this.

I am one verbal commitment away from closing a deal. Not just any deal, but the biggest deal that has come through my office since I've been here. Of course, there's still that commiment to get. If cards all fall as they should and look to now, this deal will help us double our expected sales for the year.

*blink*

Sorry, I had to ponder that for a moment.

To be honest, I still consider this deal a dream. There are some facets that just I just won't let my self consider to be real. The good part, the best part, is this is one of those deals that everyone said, 'Quote them whatever and forget about it. Don't focus on it or waste you time on it.' In as little time as tommorrow or perhaps as long as two months from now when this all shakes out...and we win the job, I'll be able to say, 'I won the job.' Piss on you all, work out credit however you like, but my ass did this deal so pucker up and kiss it.

Of course if it tanks on me, I can still say, 'Look how far I brought it...' Not quite as fun to say, but good nevertheless.

I'm going to go by stamps now.
