Today.. while at work, I read saw a link on Fark and I started to read the comments. It was a story that a user of Fark had died. To back up a bit, Fark as two basic groups -- those who use it for free and those who pay. Those who pay are TotalFarker's. Those who don't.. are Liters. This was a notice that a TF'er had died.

Lots of comments like 'I knew her, she was good people' and the like. A little snarking here and there, as it is.. after all Fark.

But.. what occurred to me is that it was... interesting to see so many people take the time to comment that even though they'd never met her.. they were sad.

I was left to wonder.. how many people died today and just this one notice made people sad?

I was left to wonder.. how few comments my obituary would get -- if one can get past the laughable idea that it'd get posted some place.

One of these things is not like the other.

Oh.. and before I forget, Plan B was a job I was going for... as my current job just isn't a fit. It was a bad idea. The only plan at the time.. so it's what I did, but six-ish months later.. I want out. Rather, the job is going to spit me out.
