Kids and dates

Case in point.. is that Loca is much, much more athletic than Kali. It took Kali a good three months to realize she could jump from the top of the printer to the top to the computer desk hutch -- something Loca does daily. Today.. Kali went to make the jump and failed. Quite the flurry of noise as she tried to make it on top, claws scratching, and then her falling... all paws flailing about. I felt pity for her as she scampered off in semi-terror at the unexpected turn of events. I put a shoebox under the printer.. so it's a much easier jump now. At least.. I think so.

Plan B takes a major step tomorrow or it crashes and burns. A step would be good. Very good. Burning would be bad, very bad.

I am actually starting to get a bit concerned.. Kali is always having crusty bits in the corner of her eyes. I've read up on it online and it seems normal enough for cats.. she's just got less than good tear duct drainage. Still.. I wonder if a visit to the vet would be good. I don't think so.. simply me trying to pay parent.

In other news... I'm dating someone. Well, I guess it's dating. I'm not too sure. Time is an issue. While I have more than enough free time, she doesn't.. being a single mom with kids.
