Netflix and Work
August 16, 2009 - 1:44 pm

I am currently Netflix'n:

The Wire -- Stupidly great show
Deadwood -- Not quite sold on it, but hav only seen the fist disc
Battletar Galatica -- I've been iffy on this since the first disc... and just got to the episode in season were 4 of the last cylons are revealed and Starbuck is back.. and I'm really scratching my head on if I care to watch the rest. On the other hand, I'm not sure it's worth the effort to edit the queue...
Dexter -- I enjoys me some do-gooder serial killer.
Criminal Minds -- Hey, I missed season one.. and I greatly enjoy Mandy Pitinkin.
Rome -- In the queue.. heard some interesting things about it, but haven't seen an episode yet.
Mad Men -- Again, down the line in the queue, but folks seem to rave over the show.
Oz -- Later in the queue.. sort of to remind why I don't want to get too into Dexter.. if you catch my meaning.

In total.. there are some 82 series discs in my queue. Add in about 250 movies and well, I've got my TV all lined up for a while.

Perhaps one day I'll figure out how to do the Netflix to the TV thing and skip the whole DVD dealie.

I bought some books today -- lots of trips coming up. Color me unexcited. But.. that's part of the gig...

I really want, I think, to find a new gig. I've been doing a lot of pondering on the advice of "Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life" and/or "You need to do what makes you happy.. or what's the point in doing it?"

In many ways, I'm a slow learner. Remedial.

The thing of it is.. I'm not really sure what I want to do. I can't really say what would make me happy.

How sad is that?
