the fickle whims of chance and fate

what's this irony that i speak of? well, there's a good chance, a very good chance, i'll be working for the main office.. and, being as my lease is up soon, i'll probably move that way.

why the irony? if this comes to pass (the position and move) then i'll be the closer to the one person in the state that can't to see my face (and, btw, currently has my email blocked) - after all these years.

does this affect my thinking? i'm sure in some way it does.. but it won't stop me from doing what makes sense.

why do i post it here? friendly fair warning i suppose.. a declaration of might come to pass.. if the fickle hand of chance and fate moves me there, who knows what other quirks may come to pass.

do i view this as good or bad..? these terms don't apply. it's just ironic.
