i'm back from another short jaunt to the field. things i've learned... i need (well want) to paint something on my black luggage. nothing fancy, just a dot of color. checking your seat as soon as possible is nice (and changing it) is wicked nice.

listenting to my shuffle.. is very nice. i think i'm really embrassing this notion that i'm an audo person. i suppose it's not a surprise. even if i'm not watching tv, i have it on as noise.. and yet if i want to do something that takes real thought, i like it to be as quiet as possible.

as far as job news... there's a bit of this and a touch of that.. i think i'll know everything by monday. it really comes down to a little bit of detail i don't yet have..

i've a lot to read for tomorrow.. presentations we might or might not be giving.. all very confusing. i'll do a little brush up and things will be fine.

i do, however, have an ethical question:
several folks in my group are.. well, less than "focused" on what we are doing. by that i mean, playing games on their new blackberries all day -- even during the presentations on what we are supposed to be learning. when it's just us, they'll openly badmouth the program and having "to do work". they will whine and bitch if we are told we'll get out at 4pm and actaully do at 5pm. some will even get up and take 15 or 20 minute bathroom breaks during various happenings.. of course they are semi-sly about it and do it when our full-time trainer-folk arn't around.

keep in mind, each of us is earning full base pay through out this program -- we are being paid to learn.

anyway, my question is.. should i have an honest converstation with the trainer folks about the group or should i just mind my own business?

as for bringing this up one-on-one with the "slackers" (for lack of a better term), they wouldn't give a shit. comments of various sorts have been made by various folks and... well, like i said.. they don't care. it's very much an attitude/maturity thing.
