mmmm...steak that thanks to unintended delays sat and marinaded for days...

yummie.

why does it take so long in a fancy ass place to get a steak? i can cook this thing in well under 10 minutes. must all be for show.. to make you think it's so difficult to do.

i actaully went to a bar on thursday. yeah, no shit. archie moores in town. met my boss and his wife there.. and few other folks from training. the place is supposed to be famous for their wings.. and while the wings are a good size, the sauce.. is well, what's the point?

the sauce is spicy a kinda hot, but nothing outragious. though it does linger and burn a bit.

my objection is that.. it totally obliterates the taste of the wings. you might as well just dunk bread in the sauce and savor all the more of it.

would i go back? probably, but i won't be using the house sauce.

i'm old and bitchy. i'm quite ok with that.

yesterday, i went up to foxwoods again.. and won money, though not as much as last time. still, anything that covers the cost to get there and some food is a good deal. i'm seriously thinking about going up every saturday. i just wish.. it was a tad closer.

in other other news.. i'm actaully sort of excited to watch the finals in the world cup -- why? i dunno. i'd like to see france win so i don't have to read a ton of bad bad "france surrenders" jokes.

in other other other news.. i'm giving serious thought to buying a road bike. joining a gym hasn't worked so well.. mostly cause i've not actaully joined. though, it would probably be a better place to start....
