i can assume the answer, but that's all it is.. my guess. sure, feel free to toss in "good" or "educated" or whatever.. doesn't change it's just a guess.
those other words are about making you feel better about your guess. about making you feel like it's not just a guess.
rationalization.. that might be the term i'm not sure. something like that.
me, i think i'd rather ask. knowing beats guessing.. at least for me.
