gmat, books and shopping

deadlines for schools i'm currently considering:
pitt - feb 1st
odu - april 1st (what a great day!)
uconn - jan 10th
washington - feb 1st

that means.. i need to have taken the gmat by the end of november so i can mail everything.. and ask people to send letters by the of the year. i think a month to write/send a letter is reasonable.. don't you?

i also got the 22 immutable laws of marketing.. sounds boring, i know. it's not. it's only 130 or so pages.. very easy to read. who knew marketing had laws? well, i did.. but this like most business books, these "laws" can be be applied in any situation.. bits of wisdom.

i also go 12 bad habits that hold good people back. long title. interesting idea.. it's sort of the flip book to 7 habits of highly effective people.. in other words, if you find yourself in rut and can't "go foward" chances are one of these 12 things will fit why. i read the little excerpt online and said wholey fuck, that one is me!

went shopping today.. and realized shopping itself i like. it's all the people there i hate. it's the waiting in line to get out with my stuff i hate.

i think if i could put on a virtual helmet and "walk" through the store, i would. mebbe.

it's getting cold. i have electric heat.. which means dry heat. i think i might get a humidifier thingie for when i sleep. waking up with dry lips/throat sucks.

perhaps i just need to drink more water.

i was going to go to the library today to start my studying, but they all close soon. tomorrow they are open until like midnight. i'm not sure if i'll go to quinnipiac or yale or central ct state. all three are near me.

tomorrow evening is study time then.
