why? various things.. the details of which, don't matter.

though i will say.. that for the longest time i've lived my life.. always with an eye towards what i think others think i should do. i can recount many, many instances of this.. and after a while, it just becomes normal to do.

these things are, probably not anyway, the things i'd have done if i was just choosing by what i alone wanted to do.

i suppose it's a sign of getting old, but i'm finally choosing by what i feel i should do.

i'm trying my damnedest not to let the opinions (assumed opinions more often than not) influence my choices.

hot damn does it feel good.
