took a stab at a $10 one.. and my first cards were pocket aces. hit another ace on the flop.. and lost everythintg to a flush. i didn't take dead last, but i was about five or six from it.

later, played in a $2 one, did much better. in fact, for a time i was second.. and was in the top ten for a while. lost it on when i got rivered.. but nothing to be done. i'd not have played it differently. ended up 60th and made back my entry fee plus a little more.

today i played in a little 18 person, 2 table tourny. did fantastic for like 90% of the time.. but when it got down to five people things just got really.. slow. you see, top 4 get paid, so no one wanted to be the next person out.

i made two foolish back-to-back calls and helped everyone out by taking 5th. up to then.. i'd be in first for quite a while and actaully had been thinking i was going to win.

i seem to have trouble finishing.

anyway. just cooked some tofu fried rice stuff. mental note, don't need to use do much garlic.. however, it doesn't taste too bad. i'm hopefull it will be good cold.
