"Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny." -- unknown what do i like about the place? 680sqft is a good size for one person. covered/underground parking fucking rocks. dishwasher. central air. balcony. a hair below my target "max" price. hookups for washer/dryer (which i don't have, but now can buy and be a good little consumer), what else? i forget. it's not a done deal, but i'm pretty sure it will. the manager wants it to happen.. but a few hickups need to be overcome, so yes.. i am doing a bit of counting my eggs before they all hatched. but, i'm going to follow up on the two first interviews i had last week and see if i can score two more formal interviews and hopefully a job offer as a plan b. i need to stop focusing on that though, need to turn my attention to some less intersting, but more relevant short-term problems. my dream list for the next few days: 1) get a significant bit of research done on my big paper, as in all the articles i'm going to use, done this weekend 2) write my personal case for internet class this weekend 3) get my two fucked up group-mates to agree when we are doing the survey tomorrow/friday 4) get a handle on the group project in internet class, hopefully tomorrow. kinda one thing a day for the next four days. should be doable, no?
