a job?
January 31, 2005 - 4:01 pm

i hit upon an idea today. i graduate in may, some four months for now. i have little lined up in the way of jobs.. but two loose things. well, possibly three.

i fourth one came to mind as i was sitting in a meeting talking about a marekting research project i'm doing for a class. we are going to do some real life research for a credit union in the area.

three people are in my group. the other two are won't be working in the area when they graduate, both are from overseas.. so i'm the lone american. i'm also the only one potentially hire-able by the credit union. clearly, the union doesn't have an orgaqnized marketing department.. so why couldn't i, provided they like the work we do, pitch that they hire me to do this full-time -- or atleast on a project basis.

we'll be pretty narrowly focused in the work we do.. and someone will need to follow up with other ideas and actaully do the implementation of our results.. right?

sounds like the perfect way to just fall into a job -- my favorite way.
